Description:
Less than 400 meters from the colonial quarter, on the top of a hill, sits the Horizontes Las Cuevas Hotel.  Guests can enjoy a view of the city, the beautiful coastal landscape of the Caribbean Sea and the Escambray mountain range. Its famed Ayala Disco, set inside a cave, lures hotel guests and Trinidad's youth, with its dazzling light and sound effects all within the natural cave environment.

From Las Cuevas, visitors can take daily excursions to Ancón Beach and the
Valley of Sugarmills-also a part of humanity's cultural heritage since it was the
world’s largest sugar-producing center in the 17th century. The ruins of many of the 600 sugar mills that existed in the valley 200 years ago are strewn over this area.
